Kempston Hammers Choir

Kempston Hammers Choir started in July 2008 when a group of friends, who love singing, came together and met a wonderful pianist called Peter Keens. Our first concert was that Christmas and we decided to organise a Summer concert to raise funding to help the daughter of one of our choir members. Since then we have held Summer and Christmas Concerts every year, sung in Homes, Garden parties, Community clubs and associations , The Kite Festival, St John's Moggerhanger, in fact, wherever we are asked!

We used the money raised to support a further two children with medical conditions, and continue to donate to St John's Hospice, Canine Partners and Guide Dogs.

We are now a choir of 28 and we sing for the joy and friendship music brings us and for the pleasure, we hope, we bring to those hearing and singing along.
